About Samuels Public Library

Samuels Public Library has been a vibrant ‘habitat’ of knowledge and learning where children, families, students, adults, and seniors of Warren County come to explore, discover, and grow. Our roots stretch far deeper into the soil of local history: the Front Royal Library Society received its charter in 1799, and through seasons of trials, hibernation, and revival - most notably the resurgence of the community library by a few notable ‘Library Ladies’ in the 1920s - those early efforts evolved into the strong, award-winning, and ever-adapting library we are today. Thanks to the loyal pride of donors, volunteers, and friends who continue to stand with us, our community library remains a thriving ecosystem.
