On April 25th, 2026, Samuels Public Library will hold its 13th A Taste For Books fundraiser! This much-anticipated event has earned its reputation as Warren County’s best party of the year - and has even been honored with the Outstanding Program for Adults Award, presented by the Virginia Public Library Directors Association. A Taste for Books offers a truly one-of-a-kind opportunity: a chance to showcase your business or nonprofit, engage new audiences, and reconnect with friends and community members – all while giving back to the community. Your participation directly supports Samuels Public Library’s mission and helps strengthen the programs and services that make our library an essential resource for everyone who calls Warren County home.

Ticket sales to this much-anticipated event have grown to over 350 guests who value the exceptional resources available for FREE to everyone in our community. This year, Samuels Library will spring to life as we bring the Animal Kingdom to you, where the wild imagination roams free, stories leap off the page, and inspiration takes flight! Through creative décor, themed tables, and playful literary nods to the natural world, guests will experience an evening that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and community. This evening event allows attendees to enjoy delicious food and drink, bid on brilliant silent auction items, and play games for a chance at prizes.
