Table Hosts provide a decorated buffet table of 2 - 3 (savory and sweet) appetizer sized ‘tastes’ for the event. The food provided supports the Library’s fundraising effort and adds an element of surprise with your yummy creations, decorations, and costumes. This is a great face-to-face opportunity to showcase your business or organization to library supporters and the larger Warren County community.
The night will include an interactive game involving a Treasure Map, bringing each guest to your table for a guessing game. There will be sea shanties, a large Silent Auction, opportunities for pictures and selfies, and lots of prizes and surprises.
This year the theme is “A Taste for Books On the High Seas.” Let your imagination and your favorite “sea” book inspire your table’s design, food, and costume. The Library will be divided into three main areas and decorated accordingly - the ocean, the harbor, and the islands.
Each table will provide dishes inspired by their chosen story. Alternatively, groups have the option of donating $100 toward food that the Library will purchase for you to serve at your table, however no complementary tickets come with this option.
In return for hosting a table, your group will receive two free admissions and chances to win awards for Best Dressed Hosts, Best Decorated Table and Tastiest Table, as well as publicity for your group in the event brochure and on this website.
